If you are contemplating a design
project and searching for a designer, let me try to describe a
bit about my standard process so that you have a feel for what
is involved, and hopefully making a major decision like this can become
less overwhelming.
On any given project, I like to begin by offering a cost-free
consultation in your space, so that I can hear directly from you
what your goals and desires are for the new work. It is during
this initial meeting that I enjoy beginning the process of brainstorming,
to try to give you an idea of how I would approach the project,
since every space and challenge is different in this city. After
I talk with you and see the place, I can then sit down and see
what the entire project will take in terms of time, and then offer
you a proposal for my services. Once you meet me, hear some of
my initial thoughts, and receive my proposal, there should be
enough to make your decision on our capatibility on both design
and financial aspects of the work. I can almost always provide
a proposal the day after I meet with you, so the timeframe involved
is very fast.
If you have any questions about me, my work, or the process of design in general or pertaining to your project, I invite you to call or email me at your convenience. My clients all have busy workday schedules and I am used to working evenings and weekends, so feel free to get in touch with me at any time.
